About Us
The Warwickshire Branch of the National Association of Retired Police Officers (NARPO) represents retired officers, their partners and widows across the county. We are proud to maintain the bonds of friendship, service and professionalism that define our shared policing heritage.
Our mission is simple — to support and connect those who have served. Through welfare guidance, social activities, and a strong sense of community, we help our members enjoy life after policing while preserving the proud traditions of the Warwickshire Constabulary and its successors.

Who We Are
NARPO is a national organisation formed to represent and support retired police officers from all UK forces. The Warwickshire Branch brings that mission closer to home — serving those who dedicated their careers to protecting the communities of Warwickshire.
We’re an active and friendly branch made up of former officers and their families, united by shared experience, camaraderie, and pride in our county’s policing history. Whether you’re newly retired or have been out of service for many years, you’ll always find a warm welcome here.
Our Purpose
Our branch exists to:
-
Support retired officers and their families with welfare advice and guidance
-
Promote friendship through regular meetings, reunions, and social events
-
Preserve history by sharing memories, photographs, and stories of policing in Warwickshire
-
Represent members’ interests locally and nationally through the wider NARPO network
-
Encourage community involvement through volunteering and local opportunities
We believe retirement is not the end of service — it’s the beginning of a new chapter where the skills, values, and friendships built in policing continue to make a difference.

Our Meetings and Membership
We hold regular branch meetings throughout the year to share updates, discuss welfare issues and plan events. Minutes from these meetings are accessible to registered members through our secure members’ area.
Membership is open to retired police officers, their partners, and widows or widowers of officers. If you’re not yet a member, you can find full details and an online application form on our Join Us page.

Staying Connected
We encourage all members to stay in touch through our meetings, newsletters and events. We also welcome contributions — whether it’s a memory, a photograph, or a piece of local policing history.
You can find details of upcoming events and useful diary dates on our Social Events page. If you’d like to reach out to a committee member or welfare contact, please visit the Contact Us page.
Join Our Community
Life after policing should be filled with connection, purpose and friendship. By joining NARPO Warwickshire, you become part of a supportive network that understands what it means to serve — and what it means to continue supporting each other long after leaving the job.
“We served together, we stand together — proud of our past, committed to our future.”
